Hello, friends and history enthusiasts,

It is common knowledge that history is not only battles, confrontations, marriages, and deaths, but also the accounts of these specific events. In relation to the history of Spain, there is a clear discrepancy between some and others, similar to but in great measure to what happens in other cultures/countries.

This is due to several reasons, among which the following stand out

• the great ability showed over the centuries by Spain’s enemies to discredit and minimise our achievements and to misrepresent and enhance our failures,
• and our weakness, apathy or disinterest in counteracting the consequences of the above (with honourable exceptions).

This project was born on a personal level (and at a very slow pace) out of despair at seeing so much information on Spanish History, the Black Legend, etc., in Spanish (which is also much needed) but very little in other languages.
